If you are near Philadelphia, there are two auctions in the city and if you're willing to travel, there is a meeting in Plymouth and then PA Auto Auction of Delaware (tax free)
closer to Jersey, Philadelphia is a city car auction Bleigh Ave known right from the Cottman Ave Exit I-95 Auctions are Tuesday and Saturday (Saturn I saw in 1999 for $ 175 and go right through them did need a tailgate)
the other is in south-west of Philadelphia (51. and Woodland Avenue)
